“Acoustic Bliss” –I say that because when you listen to the guitar instrumental’s from Blatt’s new CD, “The Color of Sunshine”, you enter into an old world soundscape, a place free from the hectic hustle n bustle and yet a place brimming with life, earthy, organic, and evoking. The inspiration within the music is that both light/color and sound/pitch are waves of vibration that are forever weaving an infinite relationship of moods and emotion. Indeed, the passion of this aural relationship can be felt on all of the 14 original compositions gracing “The Color of Sunshine”. Produced by William Ackerman and including the fine fretwork of Jeff Oster, T-Bone Wolk, Derrick Jordan, and Will Ackerman, “The Color of Sunshine” is Lawrence Blatt’s third album, coming after “Out of the Woodwork” and “Fibonacci’s Dream” –whitedog
